As the purchaser of Warmington & North custom cabinetry, you have invested in cabinetry built to the highest standards of workmanship. Your cabinetry is protected by our limited lifetime workmanship warranty.
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Warmington & North does not extend this warranty to subsequent owners of the cabinetry.
Warmington & North warrants that the original purchaser’s cabinetry will be free from defects of workmanship under normal household use for as long as the original purchaser owns the home in which the cabinetry is installed. This warranty covers cabinet face frames, cabinet doors (see Special Notes below for door warpage), back and side panels, shelves, tops and bottoms, drawer fronts, and drawer bodies.
The hinges and drawer guides used in our cabinetry carry a lifetime warranty from their respective manufacturers.
This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper or negligent installation, misuse, accidents, or alterations. It does not cover cabinetry that has not been maintained in a climate-controlled environment, cabinetry exposed to water or extreme humidity, natural characteristics of wood (see below), colorfastness of finishes, or normal wear and tear. Labor costs for removal and reinstallation, as well as transportation or shipping costs, are not covered.
Natural woods vary in color and grain pattern and exhibit color change over time. Cabinets may darken or lighten with age due to exposure to sunlight, moisture, household cleaners, smoke, and other environmental conditions. These variations are considered natural characteristics of the material and are not covered under this warranty.
Miter joints may open and close with seasonal humidity changes. This is normal behavior and not a sign of joint failure. Warmington & North does warrant against complete joint breakage.
Opaque, painted, and other solid finishes may develop cracks at door joints and seams as the underlying wood expands and contracts. This is a normal occurrence and is not considered defective or eligible for replacement under this warranty.
Due to the natural aging process of wood, Warmington & North cannot guarantee that replacement components will exactly match the finish and appearance of the original. Only current product offerings at the time of the warranty claim are available for repair or replacement.
To minimize warpage and moisture-related expansion, Warmington & North products should be maintained in a climate-controlled environment that avoids extreme temperatures and humidity. Products stored or installed in uncontrolled environments are not covered by this warranty.
If a covered defect occurs, Warmington & North will elect, at its sole discretion, to either repair or replace the defective material or component free of charge. Warmington & North reserves the right to update its product and finish offerings at any time. If a warranty claim involves a discontinued product or finish, we will substitute a comparable option of equal or greater value. Exact finish matching on replacement components is not guaranteed.
Warranty claims must be made in writing and must describe the nature of the defect. Contact us at:
