A family shop, built to stay that way

Warmington & North has been building custom cabinetry and architectural millwork in Seattle since 1974. We design, engineer, and build every piece in our dedicated shop in Wallingford — a team of ten, one roof, total accountability.

We’re second-generation and family-owned, and we’ve stayed small on purpose. Fewer projects, more attention. That’s how we’ve built a reputation over fifty years and more than five hundred projects with contractors, designers, and homeowners across the Pacific Northwest.

How we build

There’s a difference between a cabinet that’s assembled and one that’s built. We build. Every joint is cut with intention. Every surface is finished by the hands that shaped it.

We pair decades of handcraft tradition with modern CNC technology — not to replace the human touch, but to make it more precise. The machine cuts to the thousandth of an inch. Our craftsmen make it beautiful. We work in solid hardwoods, premium plywoods, and specialty materials selected for each project. Finishes are applied in-house in our spray booth — low-VOC, formaldehyde-free, and built to perform for decades.

How we work with you

Custom cabinetry is personal. It lives in your kitchen, your bathroom, your office — the rooms where your daily life happens. We think that deserves more than a rushed timeline and a templated process.

We take the time to understand your project — not just the dimensions, but what matters to you. We don’t pressure you into quick decisions. We don’t push materials or styles that serve our schedule instead of your vision. When you call, you talk to us. Most of our work comes from referrals, and that’s the way we like it.

Local fabrication, direct accountability

We’re in Wallingford, ten minutes from downtown Seattle. Everything is designed, engineered, and built right here — which means faster turnaround, easier communication, and a team that stands directly behind the work. Come visit the shop and we’ll show you how your project will come together.

Let’s talk about your project

Send us your drawings or tell us what you have in mind. We take on a limited number of projects each year so we can give each one the attention it deserves.
